Observation of safety principles is among the cases which have been changed to a culture in naft airlines . For the same purpose , the fleet uses European airplanes of Fokker . As deputy of engineering and repairs of Iranian Naft Airlines states , the type of needs and prevailing culture in oil industry has created some conditions so that oil industry activities does not need any Russian airplane.

Eng. Bahmaei states : we have purchased airplanes from production line of European companies and this is important to us that the airplanes are European and have flied in European countries . Considering this case has made us not being influenced by embargo. Though the embargo includes some parts related to the Mfg. factories , though by the actions taken so far no problem has appeared in this field , while to escape the embargos we educated the trained forces and proceeded to obtain permits necessary . It was needed before that the airplanes are dispatched every 4 , 8 , 12 years for performance of periodical inspections and in this regard , considering the permits obtained from manufacturing country and the regulations related to state Airlines Org. , the 4 and 8 years inspections of Fokker 50 & 100 airplanes are made inside the country. On the other hand , the whole
repair of Twin Outer airplanes which is active in Khark Island round the clock is made by the domestic specialists and experts of Iranian Naft Airlines . At this time having obtained certificate of repair engineering ( mc ) which is extended every year , the powers of the Co. was increased.


The last stage of repairs and engineering of Iranian Naft Airlines is overhaul which takes place currently in Holland on Fokker airplanes. Such repairs should be performed every 12 years and relate to inspection of the airplanes , performance of which requires special permit issued by the manufacturing Co. regarding the plans at hand by Iranian Naft Airlines , this Co. has taken steps for obtaining the certificate , so that it is predicted that by opening the necessary credits next year , this permit will be obtained and before reaching overhaul state , this will be performed inside the country by specialists of Iranian Naft Airlines.

Bahmaei added : at present , in Engineering and Repairs unit of Iranian Naft Airlines , 80 specialists are responsible for repair and maintenance of the airplanes. Future , quality guarantee management ( QA ) , director of engineering sectors , repairs programming management , mechanics workshop management are among the managements of Iranian Naft Airlines.

On the other part , a workshop equipped with all the body repair , all types of airplanes , engine workshop , hopper on the Fokker 50 airplanes and hopper of Twin Outer airplanes , workshop of painting , workshop of repairs and inspection of gear , wheel , tire of airplane electric workshop , electronic workshop , battery workshop are among the workshops available in Iranian Naft Airlines and it was arranged to commission at Engineering Deputy-Office of Naft Airlines the workshop for performance of non destructive tests NDT and secondary repairs workshop for Fokker 50 landing wagons.
