At present , oil industry is obliged sometimes to obtain its needs to flights - near 900 hours en route – from the other state airlines which imposes remarkable financial costs on the oil industry , while as the experts believe , development of air fleet , as a suitable solution , might remove the problem and might be used in another way as an operation and strategy tool to serve the goals of oil industry and on the other part , by lack of utilization of services of the other airlines , it might make it possible for the other countrymen to enjoy the airlines.

Nowadays , most of the great oil companies of the world pay special attention to possession of specialized airplanes , as two great oil and gas companies of Russia hold 127 specialized airplanes . Oil Co. of Indonesia and Malaysia having less record of activities in comparison with oil industry , each hold respectively 130 and 89 small and big airplanes which perform oil operations . Since the type of work in oil industry requires that this collection holds a specialized and powerful fleet , it seems that paying more attention to this fact might help the important and expanded oil industry in its achievement of the strategic goals and performance of responsibilities .

Fortunately , in recent years , change of viewpoint of the directors and authorities of Oil Sector , specially authorities of Oil industry Pension Fund has paved the way for Iranian Naft Airlines to take back its position from which it had stayed far. A position which goes back to years before State Aviation Org. was established. Many years ago , when some of the valid global companies such as Total , Annie , which were present in oil industry of Iran studied the different domestic airlines to perform their operations , they concluded that only two companies were able cooperate , one of which was Iranian Naft Airlines.
